thanks bff for letting me know about my bad habit of shutting people down who I’m not interested in. its a bad habit indeed. but to justify it i’m not trying to be mean or stuck up i’m just trying not to lead people on. toooooo many times i see people getting led on by a lie, and well that’s not me. more so, i have experienced times well i fell for smooth feeling lies. therefore, i like being honest and getting to the point. many of my gfs have told me that being like that doesn’t get you places with men … and yet it never seems to stop them from coming or being persistent in some cases. i don’t plan on changing being frank, but i have decided to work on how i convey things.
mind you this convo with my bestie came about because i shut down one of her friends who was hitting on me because i *thought he was a youngin’ and well i prefer NOT to date men younger than me.
